Portland Rescue Mission

MOSAIC PARTNERS WITH THE PORTLAND Rescue Mission (PRM) to provide hope, transformation, and total life recovery for homeless people in our community. PRM is a Christ-centered organization that offers much more than a meal and a helping hand. Their goal is to break the generational cycle of homelessness for every person to whom they minister. This partnership allows Mosaic to be a vital part of transforming lives and offering hope to those who are hopeless and often overlooked. More: portlandrescuemission.org.

Burnside Shelter

The Burnside Shelter (downtown Portland) provides emergency services for homeless guests such as meals, beds, and restrooms. The shelter also has a long-term recovery program for men that addresses the root causes of homelessness and provides men with the skills needed to maintain an independent lifestyle.

Shepherd’s Door

m_prm4Shepherd’s Door (NE Portland) is a long-term recovery program for  the fastest growing population of homeless people: women and their children. The shelter provides generational healing to help break the cycle of homelessness by providing a holistic program, individual to the needs of each woman and child.

Shepherd's Door: Rides to Sunday Gatherings
Several residents are interested in attending Sunday gatherings at Mosaic, but do not have rides.  This would be a great opportunity for them to integrate into the Mosaic community and continue growing in relationship with Jesus as they transition from the shelter to independent living.
