Prison MinistryMOSAIC IS ENGAGING IN PRISON ministry to offer love and relationships to prisoners and parolees in our city. We want to extend the hope of Jesus to those who are often rejected by society. We are a group of volunteers for in-prison ministry and mentoring who provide friendship and discipleship for inmates, both inside the prisons and as they transition out.

Get Involved: Long-Term Opportunities
Mentoring Meet with a newly-released prisoner from CRCI to talk and pray with them, and just be a friend. Re-entry into society after years in prison is a difficult transition, and mentoring can provide a ray of hope and a strong basis for their relationships with Jesus. There may be a small group opportunity for Mosiac mentors and their “mentorees” to discuss progress, build relationships and study Scripture.
Pen Pals Many inmates really appreciate having someone to correspond with during their time in prison. As a Pen Pal you’ll be connected with a prisoner to write to. The relationship you build through writing letters can bring them hope through connection with the outside world.
In-Prison Ministry Once a week, Thursday evenings | CRCI: 9111 NE Sunderland Ave, 97211 Attend Prison Fellowship worship services with several other volunteers and typically 15 to 20 inmates. This is an opportunity to help strengthen prisoners’ walk with Christ and build relationships with them. This ministry requires some Department of Corrections training.
