Redistributing Resources

BY SPENDING LESS ON MATERIAL gifts this Christmas, Mosaic is giving away $36,267.79 to people in need! Thank you to everyone who gave so generously. If you missed this offering, you may still mail your gift to: Mosaic, PO Box 13128, Portland, OR 97213, and write "Advent Conspiracy" in the memo line. The money will be redistribued to the following projects:

m_ac-livingwaterlogo25%:  Clean Water
1.1 billion people around the world live without clean drinking water. This year, we are partnering with Living Water International (LWI) to build wells for people around the world who lack clean water. The vision of LWI is that in the next decade, Christ-followers, acting as one people, can blot out the world's water crisis. The estimated cost to solve the water problem is 10 billion dollars. This is doable given the number of churches and the amount of money that is spent on Christmas each year. Hundreds of churches around the country are giving 25% of their Advent Conspiracy offering to this project.

25%: International Workers Forum in the Balkans
Send 3 children’s workers, 1 musician, and 1 speaker to care for 25 church planters and community development workers across Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, and Kosovo.

10%: Harvey Scott Family Adoption
Provide Christmas gifts and food for families in need from Harvey Scott Elementary School.

10%: Rice and Beans for Haiti
Provide approximately 5,000 pounds of rice and beans for starving people in Haiti.

5%: Warm Springs Indian Reservation Community Care
Enable Simnasho Community Fellowship to reach out to their reservation by helping them provide gifts for children whose parents are deceased or incarcerated. m_ac_mfh

5%: My Father’s House Christmas Trees & Family Activity Gifts

5%: Inmate Family Care
Provide Christmas gifts for 100 children on behalf of their parents who are inmates in Multnomah county.

5%: Shepherds Door Women’s and Children’s Shelter
