School of Spiritual Formation

c_school - School of Spiritual FormationMOSAIC'S SCHOOL OF SPIRITUAL FORMATION seeks to connect theology and spirituality to the everyday issues of life. The school offers a number of different classes each semester that address topics such as: work, relationships, ethics, family, creation care, sexuality, personal development, investments and social justice. All classes meet on a fall/spring semester schedule. They are free of charge, held at Mosaic and do not provide childcare unless otherwise noted. 

 

Winter 2010 Classes

Marriage Essentials for Engaged Couples

Mondays, March 1-22; 6:45-8:45pm | Cost: $100/couple
This class provides a biblical framework for marriage and covers everyday issues including money, conflict resolution and healthy sexuality. Each engaged couple will be paired with a mentor couple. The class is required for every couple planning to be married by a Mosaic pastor. Space is limited for this class. Sign up here by February 14.

Baptism Class

Sunday, March 21; 11:00am OR Sunday, March 28; 5:15pm | Taught by Dan Hoffman
Learn the meaning of baptism and its importance in the life of a Jesus follower. This class is required for anyone interested in being baptized during the an Easter gathering on April 4. Sign up here and indicate which week you're interested in attending.

The Story of the Bible

Tuesdays, April 6-May 4; 7-8:30pm | Taught by Kacy Cox
What if the Bible is more than a collection of unrelated books? What if actually the greatest story ever to be told can be found in its pages? Come to this five-week class to find out more about God's story of redemption. Sign up here.
